113 Dalston Lane arts space are starting a monthly FILM NIGHT.

The first event is next Tuesday 6th March and will show the following…

Perfumed Nightmare (Mababangong Bangungot) – Kidlat Tahimik (91 min) 1977
A semi-autobiographical story about a young Filipino born in 1942 (during the Occupation), his awakening to, and reaction against, American Colonialism. In his small village, Kidlat dreams of Cape Canaveral, listens to the Voice of America and is also the president of his village’s Werner Von Braun fan club.

Una Radio - moribund Films (6 min) 2012                                                                                                                                                           A film about a woman isolated in a house in Italy with a “radio”, which also features Scott from Chips for the Poor.

Doors at 7.30 and the film starts at 8pm.

They welcome future contributions of short or long films/videos, as well as people wanting to just watch and enjoy.

Resonance FM’s weekly Hello Goodbye Show are auctioning off airtime to their Saturday 31st March programme at a rate of £10 per minute.

That’s 90 minutes to fill with your songs, bands, field recordings, sound art, adverts, or whatever your brain and purse can work out.
